According to police reports, three men attacked a woman at a gas station along an interstate highway in Indiana and stole the luggage from her trunk, which contained jewelry valued at nearly $1 million.
The woman and her husband are German nationals who operate a courier service for high-end jewelry. They were driving from Indianapolis to Chicago when they stopped to fill up gas at the truck stop.
After the man went inside the truck stop, three men approached the car. One of the assailants held a knife to the woman's neck while the other two opened the trunk and nabbed the luggage.
