Dianor Resources has announced the finding of 1,286 diamonds in a single 34.75 kg rock sample recovered at its PEM property near Radisson in Quebec, Canada.
According to AFNS, the sample yielded 26 fancy color diamonds - 14 amber, six pink, and six yellow stones. The pink and amber stones are octahedroid, whereas the yellow stones were cube-shaped.
This discovery follows the April find of a 34.65 kg rock sample bearing 542 diamonds, including seven purple stones.
