The Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) has announced that 28 Thai companies will exhibit at the country’s pavilion at the upcoming India International Jewelry Show (IIJS) that will open on August 7. The Thai companies will reportedly exhibit a large range of goods from loose colored gemstones to diamond and colored gemstone jewelry and high-end designer jewelry.
In addition, Thai massage specialists at the pavilion’s Thai Foot Massage Center will alleviate the fatigue of show visitors. Mr. Boonyong Assarasakorn, Chairman of the TGJTA's Indian Region Working Committee, noted: "Apart from the fact that our industries have long, historical mutually beneficial ties, we view the local Indian jewelry market as being of tremendous importance. The Indian jewelry consumer market is diverse, multi-cultural and continuously growing. We want to market our products here and we expect to see Thai gems and jewelry sales grow significantly in India. Our pavilion is a showcase where Indian - and other - retailers can find all they wish for."
