Lauren Bacall to Launch Jewelry Line

Weinman Bros., a manufacturer of diamond and gemstone jewelry, has announced that it will create a fine jewelry collection together with stage and screen star, Lauren Bacall. The jewelry line is to bear her name. "I've always loved the thought of jewelry as art and there is nothing like the feeling of wearing something beautiful. This collection represents a great opportunity for every woman to own a piece of artistic fine jewelry at an affordable price," stated Ms. Bacall.
The President of Weinman Bros., Robert Weinman, said that the design is inspired by the star's talent, passion and creativity. "We wanted to create a line of jewelry that was a reflection of her unique sense of style," he said.
Lauren Bacall began her career on the silver screen in 1944, at the age of 20, opposite Humphrey Bogart, who she married a year later. Over the years she starred in scores of movies and television programs. She was nominated for the Oscar, and has been the recipient of numerous awards for the many roles that she played over the years.
