Hong Kong Welcomes Israel – Where Stability Reigns

Throughout Asia, Israeli diamonds are lighting up precious jewellery. As Israel’s second largest diamond export market, Asia accounts for about 35% of total polished sales. Hong Kong is Israel’s key Asian marketing hub.

The Israeli Diamond Industry is the one trading center that offers stability in a time of volatility and uncertainty. The Israeli industry has bounced back to exceed pre-2008 polished export levels, totaling $7.2 billion.

Promoting Israeli diamond exports to Asia is a major goal of the Israel Diamond Institute - Group of Companies (IDI), a non-profit institute that markets the Israeli Diamond Industry abroad. IDI’s Hong Kong representative office, IDI- Asia Pacific, serves Israeli diamond companies and importers in Hong Kong, China and other parts of Asia. IDI also operates the only Chinese portal site of any diamond center.

This year IDI presents a larger, redesigned Israel Diamond Pavilion at the June fair. The huge pavilion is located in the Diamond Hall (3FG), with a few IDI exhibitors right at the hall entrance. The pavilion features 76 leading diamond manufacturers and exporters; 20 more Israeli diamond companies are located throughout the show.

Visit the IDI Booth for information about the Israeli Diamond Industry. Welcome to Israel in Hong Kong.
