17.11.09 / Press Releases
The Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) has appointed Nissim Palomo as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the group.

Palomo joins IDI with a rich background as a diplomat, having served for twelve years with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs in various capacities on three continents.

His most recent position was as Consul of Israel in the Philippines, where he served for four years.

Nissim Palomo is a graduate of Bar Ilan University, with a degree in statistics and mathematics. He is married and has three children.

IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said that he was very pleased to announce this appointment. "IDI has expanded and diversified its marketing efforts in the past several years. We believe that the marketing challenges going forward will be even greater. We are convinced that Nissim Palomo brings important background and skills that will enable him to lead these efforts.”

IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said, "IDI has successfully implemented its strategic marketing program ‘Together Works’, which was unique in the world diamond industry. IDI is planning new and original marketing efforts in the future in developing and existing markets. Nissim Palomo’s worldwide experience will be of great advantage as we launch these new initiatives.”
